The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has issued a call for help in locating a man who has not been in contact with his family since March 20. Christopher William Ross, 39, is described as 5'9", weighing 234 lbs, with black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.

Concerns have been raised for the safety of Mr. Ross, as he is dependent on medication. The public is urged to step forward with any information that might lead to his whereabouts. In a statement shared by the Sheriff's Information Bureau, anyone who can assist is encouraged to contact the Department's Homicide Bureau Missing Person Detail.

Officials have made it easy for any tipster wishing to remain anonymous, as well. They can get in touch with "Crime Stoppers" by calling (800) 222-TIPS (8477), or by using various smartphone applications and websites designed to maintain their privacy while still providing potentially crucial information.

The LASD has further invited the public to sign up for real-time alerts from the Sheriff's Department. Such alerts will be pushed to signed-up residents through email and/or text, to keep the community in the loop about unfolding events, possibly including developments, in Mr. Ross' case.
