A man was hospitalized following a harrowing incident at the Habersham Church of Christ in Demorest, where he was believed to have been electrified on Sunday. The call came into Habersham County dispatch at around 3:15 p.m., as reported by WSBTV, indicating a possible electrocution at the church on Double Bridge Connector.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, first responders found the man suspended from the ceiling upon their arrival. The victim was one of two individuals at the scene conducting cable work and made contact with electrical wiring, which led to an electrical burn and undisclosed injuries.

After being released from his perilous position, the injured man was immediately transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for medical attention. His current state of health has not yet been provided to the public.
