A 15-year-old boy from Needles, California was arrested for firearm possession after deputies encountered him and three other youths on Tuesday morning. San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials reported that the juvenile, whose name is withheld due to his age, was nabbed with a loaded gun and ammunition near Front Street and H Street at about 11:03 a.m., as per the SBSD - Colorado River Sheriffs Department.

Contacted by the Colorado River Station deputies, the boy was found in violation of probation terms prohibiting him from carrying firearms and ammunition. In a twist of fate, the three other juveniles present during the incident were allowed to walk free from the scene, their futures momentarily uncuffed from the implications of the state's stern gaze.

Now facing charges that ascend to a trio of penal codes, including felon in possession of a firearm and possession of an unregistered firearm, the minor was booked into Apple Valley Juvenile Hall. According to SBSD - Colorado River Sheriffs Department, he is awaiting further court proceedings under the care of the county's probation department.
