In a bloody scene late last night, a 21-year-old male was shot multiple times on South Victoria Avenue in Oxnard, the local police department reported. The Oxnard Police Department said the victim was found wounded after they received a call around 10 p.m. He is now recovering in stable condition at a hospital.

The suspects in the shooting incident were observed fleeing in a black sedan by witnesses, who immediately called it in. Pursued by law enforcement, a car filled with bullet holes that matched the description was halted. Inside the vehicle, law enforcement found two firearms and took into custody three individuals caught with the guns, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

Detective Diego Estrada from the Oxnard Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is spearheading the ongoing investigation into the shooting. Currently, there is no additional information to be released about the suspects or possible motives behind the attack, as per the Oxnard Police Department.
