With a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly between this morning and late afternoon, locals should grab their umbrellas before heading out. The overcast weather will bring a mild high of about 56 degrees, and a light south wind is expected to blow at around 5 to 8 mph.
The National Weather Service reported that showers will likely occur tonight, mainly after 3 am, while the temperature dips to a low of around 48. Residents venturing out in the evening may be caught unprepared by the rain due to a 60 percent chance of precipitation. However, less than a tenth of an inch of rain is anticipated.
The forecast for Saturday shows a decrease in the likelihood of showers, with a 40 percent chance before 11 am and partly cloudy skies giving way to a high near 57. The trend of mostly cloudy evenings continues with a low of around 48 degrees and a slight breeze of south wind at about 8 mph.
Heading into Memorial Day, the gloom lifts somewhat as partly sunny skies are on the horizon with a peak temperature of around 68 degrees. It's not all clear, however; a slight chance of showers returns after 11 pm on Monday evening, with nighttime temperatures hovering at a low near 53, offering a mostly cloudy end to the day.
The week continues with a similar pattern. Tuesday will see a likelihood of showers again, mainly after the morning hours, with yet another cloudy day and a high climbing to around 62 degrees. Intermittent chances of rain persist throughout midweek, with partly sunny conditions and high temperatures inching into the low 60s, while nights will likely remain mostly cloudy and cool.
