
Following a routine traffic stop by the Harris County Constable's Special Operations Unit, a driver was arrested on the charge of possessing a considerable amount of methamphetamine. The incident, which took place on June 4, 2024, unfolded in the 100 block of E. Louetta Road, where the driver, identified as Robin Sales, was pulled over by a deputy.
It wasn't long before a Constable Narcotics Canine was brought to the scene, it alerted the officers to the potential presence of illegal drugs within the vehicle. Their search, which was predicated upon probable cause, resulted in the discovery of 46.9 grams of methamphetamine. In a statement published on the official Facebook page of Constable Mark Herman, the office detailed the sequence of events.
"Robin Sales was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver," the post from June 6th states. Set with a $50,000 bond, Sales faces a serious charge that could lead to significant legal consequences, held at the discretion of the Harris County Court, 176th District Court. The prompt and detailed response of law enforcement underscores the ongoing efforts to combat narcotics distribution within the community.
