The City of Plymouth is once again summoning all patriots, young and old, to show off their American spirit at the annual Happy Birthday America Parade. This family-friendly event, catering particularly to the preschool and elementary crowd, is happening at the Hilde Performance Mountain Center, located at 3500 Plymouth Blvd. Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 27, for some good old-fashioned patriotic fun.

Everyone is welcome to join the fray, with festivities kicking off at 10 a.m. Parents can bring their kids' bikes, trikes, and strollers to deck out in full Americana. Each child will get a patriotic-themed bag brimming with streamers, beads, and other decorations, as reported by Plymouth's official announcement. Donning red, white, and blue is encouraged, of course. Also, personal decorative flair from home is more than welcome.

The parade, set to begin at 10:30 a.m., will commence with the iconic strains of the Star Spangled Banner. The Hamel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5903 will lead the participants, ensuring that the patriotic energy hits a high note as the procession moves through the venue.

Once the parade concludes, attendees can enjoy 'Live Music by Kidpower with Rachael,' taking center stage at 11 a.m. This conclusion to the parade's formalities promises to keep the good vibes rolling and the children engaged with interactive entertainment.
