Last night, officers initiated what might seem like a mundane traffic stop in the 1000 block of E Pacific Coast Highway. However, the stop quickly escalated as the police discovered that both occupants of the vehicle were prohibited possessors carrying firearms. "The suspects were arrested, and officers recovered narcotics and two firearms," as stated by the Long Beach Police Department.
