
A man was struck by a car in what authorities have described as a domestic violence-related incident earlier today in west Harris County. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the event occurred on South Fry Road near the Katy Freeway at 8:43 a.m., as reported by KHOU 11.
Details concerning the incident, remaining unclear at this time, involved an adult male pedestrian who subsequently necessitated emergency air transport to a local hospital. Flown by LifeFlight, the man's condition has not been publicly disclosed by officials as of yet.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office stated on X that the crash took place at the 400 block of S. Fry. The response by HCSO units to the auto-pedestrian crash was rapid, and upon arrival, they coordinated the medical response for the injured man.

The woman, who was behind the wheel at the time of the collision, reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Seen dealing with the aftermath of the crash when deputies arrived, her role in the incident is still under the scope of the investigation. Neither individual's identity has been released pending further investigation.
