The incident took place halfway up Sullivan Fire Road, just west of the Westridge-Canyonback Wilderness Park, a popular yet challenging terrain for outdoor enthusiasts. According to the LAFD alert, the biker, identified only as an adult male, required immediate medical attention.
The rescue operation, logged as Incident #1504, commenced at 08:05 PM with first responders dispatching a rescue helicopter to the scene. Upon arrival, a flight paramedic was lowered to the ground, where they "medically assess and stabilize the patient" before he was safely hoisted into the hovering aircraft for in-flight care, as reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department. Transport to an area hospital ensued shortly after the patient was secured on board.
