On June 15th, the Plymouth County Correctional Facility (PCCF) celebrated a new class of correctional officers — the BCCO 64-24 cohort — stepping into the demanding roles that come with maintaining justice and order behind bars. These individuals, having endured and thrived through a grueling 12-week academy, are now fully initiated, sworn officers prepared to take on the challenges that their new career will present.

“We are considered a premier agency, not for our nice facilities, the vehicles we drive, or the great uniforms we wear, but the people who wear those uniforms. And for that, I’m very grateful,” Sheriff McDonald expressed during the commencement proceedings.
