Residents near Norwood Park were jarred by the sound of gunfire late Thursday evening, prompting a swift response from local authorities. According to a bulletin posted by the tip411 alert system, officers received a call around 9:28 P.M. on June 14th, citing reports of shots fired first at the park and subsequently in a nearby neighborhood.

The preliminary investigation by responding officers yielded no evidence at the park itself. Nonetheless, in their search, law enforcement did uncover three shell casings on the street located in the 2400 block of Pearson Parkway. The alert released by tip411 stressed that, despite the shell casings found and the shots heard by residents, no victims have come forward and no property damage has been reported in the incident's wake.

Hennepin County Sheriff's Officers CSI unit arrived in the aftermath, tasked with processing the scene where the casings were discovered.
