Witnessing the incident, a big rig's flawed ballet clipped a manufactured home that slid off another, spiraling into a chaotic dance with an SUV and leaving debris in its wake, per a report from the California Highway Patrol. The journey across the freeway spanned more than twelve painstaking hours, with the CBS Los Angeles indicating that at least one injured party was hospitalized in the aftermath.
The driver of the clipped big rig, Tarane Black, recounted to CBS Los Angeles, "All of a sudden that load came through, I guess he couldn't slow down or something and ran into the back of me there." Black elaborated how his wife, resting within the truck's cab at the time, was propelled by the force of the collision and subsequently required hospitalization.
