
The quiet of early morning in Perris was disrupted last month when deputies responded to a harrowing scene—a victim of robbery, assault, and kidnapping desperately sought rescue. This individual's chilling ordeal began in the 26000 Block of Placentia Avenue and ended with a narrow escape and a plea for help, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office. In a follow-up action, the suspect, Jaden Ross, 23, was apprehended by authorities.
On that unsettling day, May 27, at 3:00 a.m., the victims found themselves in a terrifying situation, eventually managing to break free, and aided by a compassionate citizen, law enforcement was alerted, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office reported. Although the suspect had fled, the Perris Station Robbery Burglary Suppression Team and Special Enforcement Teams were relentless and Ross was arrested in Riverside on June 5, under suspicion for his alleged involvement in this serious crime.
Ross reported to hail from Riverside himself, now faces charges that underscore the severity of the alleged acts—aggravated kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon causing injury, this detainment to take place at the Cois Byrd Detention Center revealed the sheriff's office, as per the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
