
Early this morning, Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) crews responded to a blaze that erupted in a Florence neighborhood. According to an LAFD alert, the fire started in an alley at 1018 E 79th St and quickly spread to a nearby automobile garage and a single-family residence. The incident, reported under INC#0047, was swiftly managed by first responders, and the fire was declared extinguished in less than half an hour.

The LAFD crews, arrived promptly after the fire was reported at 1:03 AM and managed to subdue the flames by 1:27 AM. Despite the rapid escalation of the fire, which threatened residential structures, no injuries were reported.
The official LAFD notification reveals that multiple fire stations, including FS 33; Batt 13; South Bureau; and Council District 9 were involved in the response. Equipment and personnel dispatched to the scene included BC11, BC13, E14, E21, E221, E233, E33, E57, RA21, RA833, SQ21, T21, and T33, and coordination was facilitated on channel 9, tact 12.
