San Diego Police Department is currently on the lookout for a suspect accused of stabbing a young woman in broad daylight. The 25-year-old woman, who was pregnant, sustained non-fatal injuries during an unexpected attack while withdrawing money from an ATM outside a Target store in Mira Mesa, as reported by the SDPD. The incident is said to have occurred around 10 a.m. earlier today, and according to the SDPD, the assault was unprovoked, happening without any prior interaction between the victim and the assailant, and it was not a robbery.

The woman, currently four months pregnant, was immediately taken to the hospital after she was stabbed in the neck, chin, and shoulder. Despite the severity of the situation, having been released, the hospital has cleared her for non-life-threatening wounds sustained during the attack. Wrapped in a light-colored blanket, the suspect was last seen wearing an unconventional ensemble of blue, pink, and green tie-dye spandex pants paired with a grey Nike jacket, complete with an unshaven beard and mustache, according to police descriptions.

Authorities have detailed a physical description of the suspect, appealing to the public for assistance. They are looking for a white male believed to be between 6'1" and 6'2", weighing around 190 to 200 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. His hair is described as curly or wavy and short.
