Early Sunday morning, residents of Chicago's South Side faced another violent incident as three individuals were tragically struck by gunfire in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. at the 4500 block of South Evans Avenue. A 35-year-old man sustained a shot to the chest and was later pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Another man, 38, also suffered a chest wound and remains in critical condition, while a 26-year-old woman was treated for a gunshot wound to the buttocks and is reportedly in good condition.
