
Residents of a South Sacramento neighborhood found themselves instructed to either evacuate or shelter-in-place early Monday morning after the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of an armed individual in the area. The situation, described as tense and ongoing, saw officers establish a perimeter around the 8200 block of Essen Way, south of Cosumnes River Boulevard and north of Erhardt Avenue, as per FOX40.
