According to FOXLA, the suspect remained barricaded for several hours as the area was cordoned off.

Officials announced the arrest at about 4:45 a.m. the following day, lifting the shelter-in-place and allowing residents to return to their homes. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept Information Bureau posted an update that the SEB had concluded their tactical operations and the neighborhood was deemed safe again.
