Bethel Park's Own Tony Condello Creates Winning Logo for First Annual Arts & Music FestivalSource: Bethel Park, Pennsylvania

Local retired graphic artist Tony Condello has been the talk of the town in Bethel Park after his design was selected as the logo for the First Annual Bethel Park Arts & Music Festival. Known for his mentoring efforts at the Schoolhouse Arts & History Center, Condello has been a fixture in the area's creative scene, guiding budding painters through various mediums including oil, acrylic, and watercolor, as Bethel Park's local publication reported.

Condello's connection to the arts in Bethel Park is not only through his volunteer work at the Center but also through his role as a former co-president of South Arts. His digital sketches, usually crafted on his computer using Procreate, caught the attention of Tim Moury, President of the Bethel Park Historical Society.

The genesis of the festival's new emblem began with a simple music concept, a guitar, merged with a paintbrush to represent the arts. Condello presented the festival board with several versions before landing on the final design. Andy Amrhein, a notable figure around Bethel Park and member of the festival board, expressed his admiration for Condello's work, noting "All of the options were outstanding, but this choice was unanimous," according to a press release. The selected logo, which Amrhein described as "absolutely spectacular," has now become a permanent symbol for the festival.
