Early this Monday morning, chaos erupted in Downtown Los Angeles as a Metro bus carrying passengers became the target of a street takeover at the intersection near West Olympic Boulevard and Flower Street. Around 3:15 A.M., individuals participating in the unauthorized automotive gathering reportedly fired fireworks at the bus and left it marred with graffiti. A nearby Starbucks on 9th and Flower streets was likewise attempted to be broken into by the mob. KTLA reported that around 50 vehicles were estimated to be part of the event that left not only the bus but also surrounding structures, tagged with graffiti.

The Los Angeles Police Department, with aerial support at hand, managed to disperse the crowd. However, no arrests had taken place by the time the situation calmed down, CBS Los Angeles indicated based on LAPD's statements.

The presence of police soon scattered those involved, leaving behind a trail of chaos to be investigated and accountability yet to be ascertained. "Everyone scattered when police arrived," documents report. The incident remains under investigation as police gather evidence.
