Fairfield PD Apprehends Suspect Linked to Narcotics and Illegal Firearm PossessionSource: Fairfield Police Department

Fairfield PD made a notable arrest related to narcotics and firearms possession last Wednesday. According to the department's social media update, Officer Ray noticed a blue car without a front license plate idling near a private residence while patrolling near East Travis Boulevard and Phoenix Drive.

This vehicle drew attention not only for its missing plate but also because it was linked to Ade Hutchinson, a man known to law enforcement for prior arrests. Hutchinson was observed exiting the home and entering the vehicle as a passenger, which led to the detention of both him and an unnamed 24-year-old female driver.

A subsequent probation search at Hutchinson's residence brought to light a stolen loaded firearm from Las Vegas and various controlled substances, including suspected fentanyl. Also found were several items consistent with the sale of drugs. Both Hutchinson and the driver were taken into custody and are now facing charges.

As a result of the operation, Hutchinson and the woman were booked into Solano County Jail.
