The aftermath of the accident prompted authorities to shut all southbound lanes for a thorough investigation, expected to extend up to 3:30 p.m.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that preliminary details suggest that the collision involved a single Toyota vehicle with one deceased occupant.
