"Our hearts are heavy as we share news about the La Puente’s Fortunate Jimenez Fireworks Show. One dedicated pyrotechnic technician was seriously injured due to a misfire and explosion. Two other technicians suffered minor injuries," the City expressed on their Facebook page. The technicians were taken to a hospital and were in stable condition by Thursday morning, with no further details on the nature of their injuries provided at the time, according to NBC Los Angeles.
