Sergeant Robert Thomas detailed that deputies were dispatched on July 11, 2024, following the lead of the viral plea for help. After a quick investigation, the suspect was zeroed in as 25-year-old Cindy Cline, living at the heart of Lake Elsinore. Aided by the Special Enforcement Team, deputies served a search warrant the next day at a home on the 100 block of Plaza Valenza, where the motorcycle was obtained, Cline was found and arrested with additional outstanding warrants sticking to her name. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the stolen item was found at the same location.
Cline's current residence is now the Cois Byrd Detention Center where she was booked for theft and the said outstanding warrants.
