
The search for justice continues over a year after the fatal shooting of Noah Martinez, a 25-year-old man in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles City Council has authorized a $50,000 reward for information directly leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in Martinez's death. According to a statement obtained by KTLA, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to reports of gunfire on the 3400 block of Emery Street in Boyle Heights at around 4:30 a.m. on June 3, 2023, where Martinez was found with a gunshot wound and later pronounced dead at the scene.
In an effort to solicit public assistance, LAPD's Central Bureau Homicide Division has extended a plea for help, the Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the initial scene, despite their life-saving attempts, Martinez succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased there. The details surrounding the incident are still unclear, with no suspect description or additional information regarding the shooting publicly released thus far.
