
Los Angeles firefighters responded to a blaze at a detached garage in Reseda on Independence Day, successfully extinguishing the flames before they could consume an adjacent home. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department's alert, the fire at 18230 W Lull St was reported out at 11:13 PM. Crews had arrived on the scene to find heavy fire emanating from the structure.

Efforts by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) prevented the spread of the fire to the nearby one-story home, ensuring that the residents remained safe. Running quickly to the scene, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and the original cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as reported by the LAFD.
The coordinated response included multiple firefighting units, with battalions from different council districts collaborating to address the emergency. Resources listed in the LAFD alert included Engines 273, 287, 293, and 296 among others, along with Battalion Chiefs 10, 15, and 17 at the helm.
