Last Friday night in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood, an adult male victim was declared deceased at the scene of a two-vehicle collision. The incident occurred at approximately 10:46 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Avenue West and West Garfield Street, according to an SPD Blotter report.

A 32-year-old driver in the second vehicle was evaluated at the scene for impairment, but showed no signs thereof; he sustained minor injuries, was treated by the Seattle Fire Department, and then transported to Harborview Medical Center for further care.

Traffic in the area was affected as police and the Seattle Department anyone of Transportation cordoned off the crash site and managed the ensuing congestion. Investigators from the Traffic Collision Investigations Squad were dispatched to process the scene and are carrying out a full inquiry into the incident.
