A somber shadow hung over the 2700 block of Shipley Terrace in Southeast D.C. this weekend, following a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 29-year-old Dionzae Foote of Oxon Hill, MD. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire last Saturday shortly after 4 p.m. and found Foote, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
