Emerging from a ditch behind an apartment complex, the unnamed individual was unable to provide officers with details about how the shooting occurred or who was responsible. "The man came out from a ditch behind an apartment complex on De Chantle Road and told them he had been shot in the foot, but did not tell officer how or why it happened," according to KENS 5's article on the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, as authorities look into the circumstances that led to the injury. The man was transported to University Hospital, where he is expected to recover. There is currently no suspect in custody, and the police are seeking any information related to the shooting.
