According to a statement from the Tampa Police Department, Ryan Moss, 26, and Kelvin Duran, 27, were detained following a violent altercation and subsequent shooting that injured a security guard and three bystanders.

Chief Lee Bercaw explained, "The swift response and quick action taken by the Tampa Police officers this morning prevented further violence and ensured the safety of all those involved.” The altercation reportedly began inside the club between the suspects and a 25-year-old black male security guard. The dispute escalated into the parking lot, where the suspects, in a vehicle, approached the club entrance, and Moss fired shots from the car, striking the security guard.

The injured security guard managed to return fire, hitting the suspects' car and causing it to crash. Tampa Police arrived promptly, apprehending Moss and Duran, while also providing first aid to victims. All firearms involved in the incident were recovered at the scene.

Three Hispanic males, who were not involved in the initial altercation, sustained injuries in the shooting. They received gunshot wounds but were expected to recover after being taken to a nearby hospital. The security guard was critically injured but has been listed in stable condition following emergency surgery.

Moss is facing charges including Attempted Murder in the First Degree, and four counts of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Duran has been charged with Principal to Attempted Murder in the First Degree, and Principal to Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm or Deadly Weapon.
