Officials reported to NBC Los Angeles that the single-car accident took place near the intersection of The Old Road and West Parker Road, just west of the 5 Freeway in northern Los Angeles County at around 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement and emergency crews encountered a grisly scene, the car had not only struck a tree and a light pole, but it had also caught fire, leading to the tragic deaths of three of its occupants right there where they had met their fate and the injured teen was arrested on suspicion of DUI by the California Highway Patrol, according to Sgt. Frank Vargas, he lamented the condition of the victims saying, "Unfortunately, their injuries are so severe, we don't have any information to identify them by."
