A recent spate of violence in Philadelphia has left multiple victims, including children, in its wake throughout several shootings reported on Thursday. Amid these incidents, a two-year-old boy and two teenagers were shot in North Philadelphia, as detailed by FOX 29. The shooting occurred at around 8:41 p.m. on the 1300 block of North 11th Street, where a boy suffered gunshot wounds to the left leg, and a 15-year-old girl was hit once in the right leg.

In a separate incident, reported by NBC Philadelphia, three individuals lost their lives in five hours, across five separate shootings in the city. One of the victims was a 34-year-old man, apparently an employee at the Frankford Convenience Store on the 1500 block of Pratt Street, who was found shot and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The presence of an open cash register, and money scattered about hinted at a robbery gone fatally wrong.

The series of shootings did not discriminate by age, as indicated by an incident in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood where a two-year-old boy and his 15-year-old sister were among three children wounded. According to 6abc, surveillance footage captured an early description of a suspect vehicle, "a white SUV with tinted windows," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small described.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the triple shooting that injured the children. Authorities said that the vehicle involved was last seen fleeing north, based on the video surveillance. Over 30 evidence markers were placed across two blocks of the incident site, signifying the extensive nature of the crime scene. "We don't know who the intended target is, they're all so young," Small told 6abc.
