Yesterday, a woman suffered gunshot wounds while inside a white Mercedes sedan, which was discovered near the 105 Freeway in South Los Angeles. According to NBC Los Angeles, the car, riddled with bullet holes on the driver's side door, was located on the sidewalk by the Vermont Avenue exit in the West Athens area east of LAX.
The shooting incident results in local traffic disruptions, with Vermont Avenue shut down as deputies cordoned off the scene for investigation. The condition of the woman, who was rushed to the hospital, remains undisclosed. Gunfire's source, whether from another vehicle or not, remains a puzzle for authorities to solve.
