The arrest occurred around 6:30 p.m. after officers, who were conducting an investigation, noticed the suspect exhibiting behaviors consistent with carrying a weapon. The subsequent search resulted in the seizure of both a loaded handgun and controlled dangerous substances (CDS). The police action took place without any reported incidents, suggesting that the situation was resolved efficiently to quickly ensure public safety.
Following the confiscation of the illegal items, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. There, he faced charges pertinent to the handgun violation and possession of CDS. The nature of the investigation leading up to the arrest has not been disclosed.
