
The Delaware State Police have opened a death investigation after 67-year-old Nathaniel Prenters of Magnolia, Delaware, was discovered deceased at a Wilmington recycling center; authorities are now appealing to the public for any information that could shed light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely death. According to a statement from Delaware State Police, Prenters' body was found at the Recycling Management Center located at 100 Amer Rd on the afternoon of August 14, even though he was not listed as an employee there.
In the report, the police detail that employees of the recycling center found Prenters in a processing area at approximately 4:18 p.m., which prompted the troopers' response to the scene at the Facility that deals in the reclaiming of used materials; the particular reasons that led to Prenters' death are yet to be ascertained with an autopsy pending which is looking to provide crucial clues. Moreover, the individual was last sighted at a residence on Juanita Drive in Magnolia, Delaware, early in the morning of August 11, and what transpired in the intervening time until the discovery of his body remains a mystery.
Since the investigation is ongoing and little information about Prenters' whereabouts prior to his death is available, Delaware State Police are urging anyone with knowledge about the events between August 11 and the discovery of the body to come forward.
