According to the Delaware State Police, the first incident unfolded on July 9 at the PNC Bank in Dover, followed by a virtually identical crime on July 16 at WSFS Bank in Wilmington.
During the initial robbery, authorities say at 11:14 a.m., a light-skinned male suspect boldly entered PNC Bank at 3 Loockerman Plaza, deploying a demand note to liberate an undisclosed sum from the bank teller's care. A similar situation played repeat the following week at 2:51 p.m. when an "unknown white male" allegedly struck again, this time at the WSFS Bank located at 4601 Kirkwood Highway, as reported by the Delaware State Police. The culprit, following the same modus operandi with a demand note, successfully fled on foot with another unspecified cash total.
