The Clark County Fire Department arrived on scene around 5 p.m. to find light smoke and no visible flames initially, according to FOX5. Unfortunately, upon entry firefighters discovered one individual who had succumbed to the incident.
The fire, which struck a two-story multi-family dwelling, led to temporary displacement of residents from three adjacent units while authorities, processed the scene, slights delays may have occurred due to the ongoing investigation on site. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation, with no further injuries reported outside of the casualty.
