Houston authorities are digging for answers following the discovery of a man's body at an apartment complex in West Houston. The Houston Police Department was summoned to 2630 Tanglewilde Street yesterday evening after concerns were raised about the welfare of a resident.
According to a brief released by City of Houston News, the responding officers from HPD and paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived around 10:50 p.m. They attempted, but failed to make contact with the individual. After entry was made into the apartment, they found a 34-year-old male unresponsive on the floor, he was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
The HPD Homicide Division, including Detectives B. Stephens and M. Castillo, are currently handling the case. However, much remains in the air as the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is yet to release an autopsy report that will likely determine the man's identity and the cause of his death.
Anyone with details about the incident is being prompted to reach out to the HPD Homicide Division. The investigation continues, and HPD encourages anyone who might be able to contribute any piece of the puzzle to call 713-308-3600.
