The incident transpired shortly after 2 a.m. yesterday at the junction of 30th Avenue and Arthur Road. According to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office, the woman, a 34-year-old from Howard City, apparently failed to obey a stop sign and her vehicle struck another driven by a 47-year-old man from Florida, who was unharmed, according to WZZM13.
The injured woman was initially taken to Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital with, what the Sheriff's Office described as, "major life-threatening injuries".
