Las Vegas became the scene of a fatal altercation as homicide investigators are examining a shooting that occurred near Decatur Blvd. and Charleston Blvd. on Wednesday evening. Details are still emerging, but according to KTNV, the incident took place at approximately 6:33 p.m. in the 900 block of Dover Pl.
What unfolded seems to be a tragic result of workplace tensions, as reported by News3LV. A man, after being deemed unfit to work on a home remodeling project and subsequently losing his job, allegedly drove his SUV to chase his boss in an attempt to run him over. Caught up in his dismissal from work, the man did not only target his boss but also struck a bystander.
The drama escalated when, as mentioned by police on News3LV, "a witness pulled out a gun, shooting and killing the driver" in what appears to be a spontaneous act of intervention. The fallout saw both the boss and the bystander, having been hit by the SUV, transported to an area hospital — their injuries serious, but survivable, according to authorities.
