
A tragic incident unfolded at a Glendale shopping center this past Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a man, now identified as a father of two. The shooting occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. in front of a Paris Baguette store located at 818 N. Pacific Avenue. As reported by CBS Los Angeles, the victim was near his parked white pickup truck when the assailant, who is believed to have either arrived on a motorcycle or foot, fatally shot him.
The Glendale Police Department has since cordoned off the area and is to actively conduct a thorough investigation into the homicide. Witnesses described the victim as a regular patron of a coffee shop within the shopping plaza. FOX LA notes that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene and though the alleged gunman fled the area, authorities have not yet released a suspect description or name.
