Finding your way through the bureaucracy of City Hall has just become markedly less daunting for residents of Fort Worth. A one-stop customer service hub is now open on the fifth floor of City Hall, located at 100 Fort Worth Trail. According to the City of Fort Worth, this consolidated service center is open for business from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., boasting an array of free parking right in front.

Fort Worthians on the hunt for services can find Development Services, Water Bill Pay, and Water Applications alongside a Central Cashier within the new hub. On an as-needed basis, departments like Park & Recreation, Environmental Services, Transportation & Public Works, Neighborhood Services, and the Fire Department stand ready to assist—a convenience designed to save time and streamline city interactions. Citizens can schedule appointments through the Development Services website or quickly scan a posted QR code to reserve their spot ahead of time.

The move has not only affected Development Services but also Water Department inquiries and transactions, which were previously handled at 908 Monroe St. The transfer incorporates a variety of functions, from making account or billing inquiries to requesting assistance with the MyH2O portal or filing paperwork for contractor fire hydrant meters. However, customers needing to give a ring about their accounts can still reach the water customer contact center between the generous hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the inauguration of the facility, with Mayor Mattie Parker at the helm of this significant gesture. The official photograph of the event can be witnessed through the city news release. Notably, while many services have relocated to this central point, the water utility’s other sections housed in the old City Hall and nearby buildings are expected to remain static for several more months.
