The San Antonio Zoo is opening its doors to frontline heroes this September, offering them a respite from the frontlines with free admission. Tim Morrow, the President and CEO of the park, emphasized their commitment to recognizing the selfless contributions of these individuals. In a statement obtained by KENS5, Morrow noted, "At San Antonio Zoo, we deeply value the courage and commitment of our frontline heroes who consistently put others before themselves."

Throughout September, the zoo is granting complimentary access to doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs upon presentation of valid identification documents. According to KSAT, the accompanying guests can enjoy a 50% discount on Any Day Admission tickets—up to four guests per frontline worker.

Moreover, those visiting after September 21 will have the additional bonus of participating in Zoo Boo, as Morrow commented in a statement obtained by KENS5, that the offering is a way to extend "sincere gratitude for their remarkable service and dedication."

The San Antonio Zoo operates daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at 3903 N St. Mary’s Street, it has become an integral part of the community, not just as a conservation hub but as a fertile ground for educational and leisure activities. "Their unwavering dedication, whether as doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, or EMTs, deserves our utmost gratitude," Morrow continued, clearly recognizing the manifold roles these individuals play in the fabric of society, as reported by KSAT.
