As the summertime vibes reverberate through Central Park, the City of Santa Clarita invites everyone to saddle up or hop in for a musical escape during the final weeks of its Concerts in the Park series, which according to a recent city announcement, will carry on each Saturday through August 24. Music enthusiasts can bask in the ease of travel with multiple transport options on offer, ensuring a smooth ride to an evening of tunes and chill.
For the eco-conscious and those who just want to feel the wind in their hair, the free Bike Valet service, hosted by Trek Bikes Santa Clarita, is a boon. Riders can enjoy a concert without worrying about their two-wheeled companions being mishandled, providing a combination of security and sustainability. Alternatively, GO! Santa Clarita, the city’s ride-share program, provides weekend trips with a fixed rate, ensuring by professional drivers, a hassle-free arrival and departure as it was highlighted in the city's blog.
Anxiety over parking is quelled as Central Park opens up its arms wide to an additional 268 parking stalls; included among them are accessible and EV charging slots so that everyone, regardless of mobility or vehicle type, can find a spot just as painlessly as it takes to tap a foot to a beat. Central Park's extra parking makes it simpler to line up, ensuring a speedy switch from driver to dancer.
With four dates left, the lineup bids a fitting adieu to the lazy, hazy days of summer. Saturday escapades kick off with a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival on August 3, then roll through a neon-tinted '80s experience on August 10, before tipping a hat to modern country music on August 17. Wrapping it all up on August 24, attendees will groove to Adelaide Pilar’s Latin Divas Show, honoring the beats of Selena, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, and Celia Cruz. Each concert is set to start at 7:00 p.m., with food vendors serving up flavors as early as 5:00 p.m., all narrated in detail on the Santa Clarita city blog.
