Seattle police detectives are currently investigating a carjacking and homicide that occurred this morning in the Madison Valley neighborhood. According to the Seattle Police Department, officers were called to Brighton Playfield near the 3900 block of South Juneau Street at 3:05 PM after receiving a report from Seattle Animal Control about a dead dog found in the area.
In the vicinity of the sad discovery they found an unoccupied vehicle that had been reported stolen from the same neighborhood earlier during a homicide, this sad reality of this tragic day was further compounded by the fact that the vehicle's theft was part of the violent incidents the detectives are probing. The Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Units were deployed to process the crime scene.
