Three men, all prior convicted felons, have been arrested in connection with a bold gun heist that occurred last month at a Placer County gun shop, in which a trove of 73 firearms was pillaged. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary took place in the early hours of July 22 at Foothill Firearms in Newcastle. As reported by FOX40, the primary suspect, Tyrone Brennen, 39, from San Rafael, utilized a power tool to carve a hole into the side of the business, stealing the handguns before fleeing in a light-colored sedan.

In the ensuing weeks, the Placer County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the ATF and several local police departments, executed warrants in San Rafael and Vallejo. This collaboration led to the apprehension of the suspects on Tuesday, just over two weeks after the burglary. A statement obtained by KCRA noted that Brennen, who has a no-bail warrant, was caught with stolen firearms and tools that linked him to multiple commercial burglaries across California, a method marked by literally cutting into businesses.

Loren Bingham, 41, of Vallejo, identified as Brennen's lookout and getaway driver, had his bail set at $100,000 and was also found with incriminating items. Additionally, in a the blunder that perhaps clinched the case against the culprits, authorities stumbled upon Richard Nosenzo, 57, also of Vallejo, in possession of one of the stolen guns while he was in the same residence as Bingham when the arrests occurred. Nosenzo's bail was set at $435,000, according to FOX40.
