
Two individuals have lost their lives in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on Monday in Lake Los Angeles, an area within Antelope Valley, the incident occurred around 11:39 a.m. at the intersection of 152nd Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard.
Emergency personnel arriving at the scene were greeted with a tableau of destruction, vehicles bearing the scars of a head-on collision on the two-lane highway, as KTLA captured images of the chaos, vehicles distorted beyond recognition, and the processes of life itself brought to a sudden halt for at least two souls, while another individual was left contending with life-threatening injuries, according to NBC Los Angeles, who reported that at least two others were treated for injuries at the scene.
The collision damaged a utility pole, prompting repairs by utility crews. Investigators started to piece together what happened.
