
The Michigan State Police have made significant headway in a narcotics sting that led to the arrest of two Metro Detroit men on felony drug charges. Steven Jackson, 31, of St. Clair Shores, and Mantwan Gladney, 28, of Detroit were apprehended following a coordinated effort by the Thumb Narcotics Unit (TNU). The operation uncovered the sale of dangerous substances such as methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl in the Thumb region, as per a statement released by the Third District of the State Police.
According to Audacy's WWJNewsradio, Jackson and Gladney were arrested during a routine traffic stop in Imlay City last Thursday without any disruption. Following their arrest, a home in Macomb County was searched under a search warrant, which resulted in the confiscation of additional narcotics and a firearm categorized as stolen.

Both suspects are now housed at the Lapeer County Jail, and they have faced a judge on felony drug charges at the 71A District Court, according to multiple sources, including the State Police's post on X. The successful operation was a collaborative effort, wherein multiple units, namely the MSP Emergency Support Team, St. Clair County Drug Task Force, County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET), Imlay City Police, and State Police K9 units, played vital roles.
