A violent carjacking in Spanaway resulted in a woman being shot multiple times on Sunday afternoon, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. The incident, which took place at 17700 25th Ave E, saw the victim and her friend assaulted during what was supposed to be a marijuana sale transaction.
Deputies, after receiving calls about the shooting at 5:14 pm. They arrived swiftly to find one woman injured and provided immediate first aid; the other was encountered in a state of shock after the suspect's aggressive takeover of the vehicle. The altercation escalated when the suspect pistol-whipped the driver, forced her out of the car, and proceeded to shoot the backseat passenger twice.
